This is a little over a 2 hour drive to the cascade mountains to the west of Oregon. It is part of the Volcanic Legacy Byway Highway system. We’ll be driving through the mountains, again! Since Crater Lake is a National Park, we’ll be staying outside the park at a campground called Diamond Lake RV Park.  It’s located right at Diamond Lake, which is part of the National Forest Service. It’s 20 minutes away.

We’ll be here for 3 days.
