This is almost a 2 hour drive. We’ll be staying here to cover a lot of ground for 5 days. Our campground, Sandy Riverfront RV Resort,  is in a good location for visiting both Portland and the Columbia River Gorge. Troutdale is actually the Gateway to the Gorge, right at at our campground.
