This is a long drive through the desert of Nevada and California. It will be close to a 5 hour drive. We’ll be skirting the Mojave desert and all of the solar farms there. We’ll also be going around Las Vegas. It will be a boring drive. Once we hit the Angeles mountains, it will signal a change of scenery and our multi-day stay in the mountains, although we’ll be on the dry side of them.  We’re staying at the Californian.
